What is Covid 19 or the Corona Virus ?

Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) is an infectious disease caused by a newly discovered coronavirus.

Most people infected with the COVID-19 virus will experience mild to moderate respiratory illness and recover without requiring special treatment.  Older people, and those with underlying medical problems like cardiovascular disease, diabetes, chronic respiratory disease, and cancer are more likely to develop serious illness.

The best way to prevent and slow down transmission is be well informed about the COVID-19 virus, the disease it causes and how it spreads. Protect yourself and others from infection by washing your hands or using an alcohol based rub frequently and not touching your face.

The COVID-19 virus spreads primarily through droplets of saliva or discharge from the nose when an infected person coughs or sneezes, so it’s important that you also practice respiratory etiquette (for example, by coughing into a flexed elbow).

At this time, there are no specific vaccines or treatments for COVID-19. However, there are many ongoing clinical trials evaluating potential treatments. WHO will continue to provide updated information as soon as clinical findings become available.

Symptoms of being infected

Symptoms of being infected.

First of all being infected does not mean you cannot recover. There are many who have recovered.

The COVID-19 virus affects different people in different ways.  COVID-19 is a respiratory disease and most infected people will develop mild to moderate symptoms and recover without requiring special treatment.  People who have underlying medical conditions and those over 60 years old have a higher risk of developing severe disease and death.

Common symptoms include:

  • fever
  • tiredness
  • dry cough.

Other symptoms include:

  • shortness of breath
  • aches and pains
  • sore throat
  • and very few people will report diarrhoea, nausea or a runny nose.

People with mild symptoms who are otherwise healthy should self-isolate and contact their medical provider or a COVID-19 information line for advice on testing and referral.

People with fever, cough or difficulty breathing should call their doctor and seek medical attention.

Prevention of Covid

To prevent infection and to slow transmission of COVID-19, do the following:

  • Wash your hands regularly with soap and water, or clean them with alcohol-based hand rub.
  • Maintain at least 1 metre distance between you and people coughing or sneezing.
  • Avoid touching your face.
  • Cover your mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing.
  • Stay home if you feel unwell.
  • Refrain from smoking and other activities that weaken the lungs.
  • Practice physical distancing by avoiding unnecessary travel and staying away from large groups of people.

Positive Selfcare Habits
  • Eat healthy, well-balanced diet and drink plenty of water.
  • Get 8 – 10 hours of sleep in the night.
  • Keep warm externally and internally
  • Exercise with social safety
  • Take deep breaths and stretch often.
  • Avoid alcohol , drugs, smoking.
  • Do not ignore public health recommendations.
  • Make a productive plan for the day
  • Learn new hobbies
  • Digital social networking
  • Less intake of negative news feeds
  • Read a lot of books
  • Stay calm
  • Keep note of any discomfort or fever more than 72 hours or 3 days
  • At home, follow social distancing with family members and pets.
  • Do not share dishes, drinking glasses or cups, eating utensils, towels or other bedding with people in your home. Wash these items thoroughly after each use.
  • Clean and disinfect surfaces including sinks, microwave, refrigerator, toilets, shower, bath, etc., after you use them.
  • Wear a facemask and gloves if you need to be around family members and pets.
  • Use a humidifier or take a hot shower for sore throat and cough.
  • Clean your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds after you blow your nose, cough, sneeze, use the bathroom, and before eating or preparing food.
  • Use alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol if soap and water are not available.

The Corona virus is a microorganism or bacteria which belong to the monera kingdom. Bacteria can generally exist only in cold conditions and has active wind energy when they are contagious. Its existence in coldness is evident by the fact that whatever we do to generate heat in the body internally or externally works as a protection for the body against this virus. Eg. Drinking warm water, sun bath, keeping the body warm, increasing body heat while exercising, Alcohol contains heat energy which is the reason why it evaporates and so we use sanitizers and isoprophyle alocohol as a protective agent. The presence of wind energy works as a carrier which is evident that when we sneeze, cough, the virus can become contagious. Sneeze, cough , breathlessness, respiratory disorders, fresh air, wearing mask to block the flow of wind are all related to the wind energy.

Based on the above consciousness we will illustrate a few simple selfcare methods which is non invasive and without any internal medicine. We will try to explain as much as we can to deliver the consciousness for your benefit.

Under our Covid Support program we can extend our support to breathing disorders and focus on the functioning of the lungs. Working on the virus is not our scope right now, however we believe that if we can be of help in supporting the respiratory disorders using colors, finger gestures and our non invasive methods, we will be able to buy more time for the covid patients and thus save more lives.

Food consciousness

A healthy food combination is that which has 50% raw foods.

To build immunity and cleanse the body it is good to go on a 5 or 11 days raw food diet which can include only fruits, vegetable in raw form dishes, salads, juices and so on. You can also have dry fruits soaked in water overnight.

It is highly recommended to enter and exit a raw food diet with 50 % raw food 3 days before and after.

Preparing our body

Although the Covid times calls for building immunity of the body and maintaining a healthy body. It is a lifestyle which can be implemented to stay healthy with good immunity throughout your life. A step by step of the essentials to prepare our body towards a healthy living is outlined below

1. Build a regular exercise schedule that you can do anywhere without any aid.

Exercise should include physical activity that makes you sweat

2. Breathing exercise or Pranayama for 15 minutes.

3. Cleanse the internal body atleast once in 6months for the first 3 years and then once a year atleast

4. Build a diet that contains 50% raw food and consume food that build immunity

5. Maintain personal Hygiene. Salt Bath, hygeinic steam room and sauna are also highly recommended.

6. Take Sun Bath for 30 minutes to one hour a day. The best method is to combine your outdoor work along with sun bath. Like washing your own car when the sun is up.

7. Meditate for 30 minutes a day

Meditation builds a strong energy body around you adding to your immunity.

8. Rationalisation of your desires. It help you maintain harmony with youself, your surrounding and your relationships.

Cleansing your internal body

In Yoga Kriyas there are many methods of cleansing the internal parts of the body. We  recommend the easiest and the most powerful one below with inummerable benefits which you can do it yourself.

Full Internal Body Cleansing

Preparation – 2 days 100% of raw food intake. Nothing else. No coffee , tea etc..

On the 3rd day prepare luke warm water with salt where the water should taste saltish.

On waking up in the morning after preparing the water, check if it is lukewarm and in a state to drink.

Start drinking the water as many bottles (1 1/2 litre) as you can one after the other without much gap. After some time you will start wanting to pass motions. Please continue to do both . Drink warm salt water, to go the washroom. Come back do the same.

Continue this till you observe that the color of water you drink and the color of water you pass out as motion is the same.

Once this stage is achieved , you can stop drinking the salt water. Then after a few more rounds of going to the washroom. Your motions also will come to a stop.

Do not eat anything until evening 5 or 6 pm.

If you can do a few rounds of Suryanamaskaras ( Sun salutation) or any comfortable exercise in between drinking salt water and going to washroom. It would be highly beneficial.

If you are doing the above process , lets say starting at 8 am. you would ideally be finishing by 1-2 pm. This is just a rough estimate. The water color or clarity is parameter as mentioned above.

Have an early dinner at around 7 pm before sunset, with only lentil rice in semi solid form with some ghee. ( Called dhal Kichidi – Check for recipes online) Do not make it spicy.

Continue for another 2 days of Raw food gradually decreasing to 50 %  and then from the third day you can get back to normal foods.

It is highly advisable to avoid all alcohol, smoking and spicy food for atleast a week for best results.

People with any medical history, pregnant woman are recommended not to do this without supervision.

 

 

 

 

Salt bath and sun bath

Standing in the Sun outside or in your balcony for 30 minutes brings in different energies to the body.

Sun bath and Salth bath also cleanses and strengthens your energy system

Salt bath can be taken by using Spa Salt or Epsom Salt or Magnesium Sulfate atleast once a week. It will proctect, cleanse your skin and add to your health.

Meditation

Meditation is being in Silence.

A silent mind becomes like a magnet that can attract many things and become conscious of our own self.

Meditation builds a strong energy body around you adding to your immunity.

There are many meditation techniques you can find online. I will put down a simple technique you can start with right now.

1. Sitting in a comfortable position in a silent place.

2. Just observe your own incoming and outgoing breath touching the edges of your nostrils.

3. Continue this observation 20-30 minutes and then slowly open your eyes being aware of your surroundings.

4. Meditate regularly if possible at the same time and place or anywhere. Just don’t miss the practice

Short of Breath

Press hard in the area circled with black with your thumb finger and see if there is intense pain. For all who are short of breath and having breathing problem will have high intensity pain.

Just continue to press there for 15 minutes twice a day and the pain will subside. As the pain subsides your breathing also gets better.

Protection for your Energy System

You can apply orange color for 1 hour a day to to strength your energy system. Apply as shown in the picture front and back of the palm.

Orange color increases energy levels in the body and in turn proctects the body.

In case of any discomfort, please wash off.

Any marker or highlighter can be used. We recommend water based washable marker.

Throat Irritation

Apply yellow color as shown in case of throat irritation. To be applied only in case of throat irritation.

It reduces the activity of infection of the throat.

Mudra or finger gesture is  a power tool to build immunity. It has to be done without disturbance and in a relaxed sitting position. You cannot walk around with it.

Touch the tip of the thumb finger on the first joint of the middle finger keeping it relaxed on your lap facing the sky as show in the picture.

Can be applied 15 minutes, twice a day.
